What’s wrong with my headlights?
So i recently installed 8000k hid headlights on my 09 accord coupe. I was driving around and a day after the installation, while i was driving, the driver side light suddenly turned off. I initially thought one of the wires connected to the hid conversion kit had come loose. So i check it to see that nothing was wrong with it. I then wanted to test out if the headlight was even working so i plugged in the stock bulb that originally came with the car to see that it also did not work. (the passenger side light has been working fine the whole time).
So what is wrong with my headlight and what should i do.
I would get a test light and see if power is being sent to the harness that your light plugs into. If there is now power there, check the fuses and the relays pertaining to your headlights. If there all fine, trace the line to see if there is a short.
